Santas Little Helper Gift Card Holder

I wanted to use my dies from My Creative Time and see how well they work with felt. I think they work pretty good. I used the black felt for the scallop. I then used some glue to stick it to the back of the stitched circle. I think it turned out pretty good. I just might try this again.

  • Recollections Snowy Days paper
  • Stickles - Frosted Lace
  • white brad & black corduroy brad
  • My Creative Time Dies - Scallop & Stitched Circle
  • My Creative Time Stamps - All Around Christmas
  • Black Felt from Walmart

Card Donations Needed! Great Service Project!

I made this card and a couple others for Card Donations Needed! Great Service Project! over at My Pink Stamper. I wanted to make some cards to help out. Here is what these cards are for.

"I really need your help along with the your followers. Long story short. I am a nurse at the Medical of WI in Plastic and Reconstruction dept. We specialize in the forefront in reconstruction for breast cancer. Women from all over the country come to us. This year I/we decided to sponsor the breakfast for breast cancer survivors. 1500 women who have had breast cancer or who are actively dealing with it now will attend this breakfast before the run/walk.

Every year prior to this year I have made something for the women and handed it out at the end of the race/walk. To my astonishment people would be grabbing-pushing aside other women and men to get what I was handing out. Ex: white and pink chocolate covered Oreos, wrapped pink and white M&M's mini bags. TO my astonishment again the cancer survivors really didn't receive what I made.

Well this year, the breakfast will be catered by one of the best chefs in Milwaukee. I feel it is an honor to sponsor this. Where you come in - Please if one person could make a card to support uplift make someone smile. It would make their day. The card would be placed at their seat. Please Please help!

I would be happy to give my address if you could ask people to help me with this. Just 1 card - 1500 Pink Stamper followers. The Breakfast is on September 28th.

Thank you for your time.

I made this 12 x 12 Scrapbook page to enter in to the Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday - Our Furry Friends. For this challenge you had to use PKS faces and you also had to use an animal in your project.

Crafter's Companion Humphrey Purse

I hope you like this cute purse I made today using The Ultimate Crafter's Companion & DVD. The stamp I used was Best Friends Humphrey Stamp Set. Then I used my watercolor pencils to color in the image and some Stickles to "bling" it up a little.

I put used some K& Company sticker flowers on the inside to give it some more cuteness. I added some Glitz stickers on the outside just so it didn't look too plain. This was super simple and easy to make. If you do not have the Ultimate Tool then I suggest you get yourself one asap. Have a great day!

Monday Challenge #21 - Gift bags and boxes

For this challenge over at My Craft Spot by Kimberly you had to make a gift bag, box, or other container. I decided that I would use the SVG file Sunny Weekend Purses - Carri's Purse from

I wanted to make some cards to go inside the purse. Here is one of them. I cute out the "Inspire" from the tag sheet in The Mainstreet Stack from DCWV. I did the same with the "Live Each Day" tag on the outside of the purse. I then used Glossy Accents to give it more of a "tag" look.

  • Recollection sunflower stickers
  • Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
  • DCWV  - The Mainstreet Stack
  • K& Comany sticker - Berry Sweet

Throwback Thursday Challenge ~ Episode 230

This is what I made for the Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time. For this challenge you had to use a "Retired" Cartridge from this list. So I choose to make something for Halloween using tags, bags, boxes, & more.

I made this box and I think I may use it to make some cards for my daughter to give her friends at school or maybe I will put some "treats" inside. Not sure yet.

  • DCWV Ghosts & Goblins Stack
  • K&Company Halloween Adhesive Chipboard
  • Distress Ink - Black Soot
  • DCWV Ghosts & Goblins Embellishment Stack

Challenge Me Monday #72

For this Challenge Me Monday by Fantabulous Cricut you had to crate a project with a bug on it and also have at least one cut with your Cricut on it. I decided I would use my Gypsy and weld a card together using Accent Essentials. I then used a cute bird sticker from Recollections. I am not sure if a bird necessarily qualifies as a "bug" but it does eat bugs. ha ha. Well worms are bugs right?

  • Distress Ink - Worn Lipstick & Black Soot
  • My Mind's Eye - Alphabet Soup
  • Cricut Cartridges - Accent Essentials
  • Stamp Set by My Creative Time - Race for A Cure
  • Recollection Sticker
  • Pink Ribbon

Penguin Christmas Card

For this card I wanted to try and see if I could make a stepper card. I love Christmas and since I kept hearing "Christmas in July" (yes I know it's August now) I wanted to post a card that I made for Christmas.

I found the instructions for this card on you tube & in a magazine. It really is easy. I love that you can have this card out to display because it stands up on its own.

Christmas Wishes pulls out on the side of the card and you can put whatever you would like on it. You could put a picture or use this to make a birthday card and put a different sentiment here. The possibilities are endless.

  • We R Memory Keepers paper - Merry & Bright
  • Cricut Cartridge - Winter Frolic
  • Flock - white
  • Merry Christmas sticker

Mojo Monday 203

For this Mojo Monday Challenge I wanted to use my new DCWV Stack called Harvest Gatherings. I used my Gypsy to cut out the Hello label at 3 in. I think this is the first time I have used this cartridge to make an actual "label" and not just a "welded" card.

  • DCWV - Harvest Gatherings
  • Martha Stewart Punch - Double Scallop
  • Recollections punch
  • Stickles - Golden Rod
  • Distress Ink - Old Paper
  • Cricut Cartridge - Lacy Labels

Let's Face it Friday - Shaped Card

For this PKS Lets Face It Friday Face Challenge you had to make a shaped card and use PKS faces. I decided I would use my Gypsy and Winter Frolic cartridge to make this shaped card. I also used Winter Frolic to make this cute little snowman and stamped the face using PKS Snow Cutie faces.

I wanted to try my hand at using a brad to "connect" the card & it was pretty easy. I made this card kind of plain cause that is how I have been feeling lately. Just a little less on the cards and they still look adorable.  :)

  • Cricut Cartridge - Winter Frolic
  • Peachy Keen Stamps - Snow Cuties
  • My Mind's Eye paper - I Believe
  • Stickles - Xmas Red & Green
