Sugar & Spice mini album

Well hello there everyone. Sorry I have been MIA for a little while. Life has been pretty crazy for me and my blogging not my crafting has kind of taken a back seat. I have a few projects I have been working on lately. Mostly albums. I am so in to them right now I am enjoying making them so much.

Here is a cute album that I made using some Crate Paper Collection Pack called Emma's Shoppe Collection. I used all the little elements of this collection and I thought it was so cute. I originally was going to give this album to my daughter but then after I put it together I thought it is more for a little girl not a teen so I gave it to a friends daughter. I am not sure she will put any pictures in it but that is ok. She will enjoy it none the less.

This was a pre-cut chipboard album I bought at Office Max for a couple of dollars. I cut all these adorable papers up and the elements. I inked the edges but honestly I didn't write down the color. I think it might be Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

I am so loving this album. I am thinking that I may want to make another with the paper that is left. Sorry I am not going to list the exact stuff I used only because I can't remember and I didn't take notes on it like I usually do.

Thank you for stopping by tonight. I will add some more projects in the next day or two. I hope you enjoyed my album.

I layed it all out on my gypsy first so that I could see how it would look all put together.  I inked all the edges using peeled paint and mustard seed. The sentiment is from MCT Small Talk. The twine is from My Craft Spot and this ribbon is from Michaels. I think it came out pretty cute I am thinking it might go on the from of a candy bag.

Anyway this was a super simple sketch to follow. I love it. All the pattern paper is from DCWV 8x8 The Pets Stack and the base paper is from the Recollections Jolly & Bright cardstock. I used some Color Box glitter letters for his name. The little lines are from My Creative Time Cherish This Moment stamp set. I have not done any journaling yet. Recycled Cologne Tin

Good evening everyone. I am glad that you stopped by tonight. Here is a cute project that I made for my daughter to put some of her hair clips in. (Although I am thinking I might want to keep it for myself now) I painted this old tin that had some of my husband's cologne in it. Once all the paint was dry I got out my hot glue gun because I was originally going to hot glue these brads on after I cut the backs of them off. Then the light bulb went off and I said "Hey I wonder if I could use my Crop A Dile and punch some holes in this and then put the brads through it.

I was really worried about how it would work but it worked perfectly. I think my daughter is going to love it. I love all the bright colors and later on down the road if she wants to change the brads we can always do that.

Santa's Gear

Good evening everyone. Thanks for stopping by. I am sharing a Christmas card I made using this cute stamp set from Crafter's Companion called Stamp It Holiday Collection Santas Gear. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color in the image and then used some white flock to give the clothes some fur. The paper that I used is Recollections Jolly & Bright. I used some pop dots on the clothes to give them a little dimension and some cute little mini paper clothespins and hot glued some little bells on the bottom of the card. I think it came out adorable if I do say so myself.  :)

I am so sorry

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy this card that I made for some family members that lost a loved one. I wanted to send them a little something just to let them know that I was thinking about them.

I used my Imagine to print each one of these patterned papers and then cut them out and inked the edges to adhere them to my card base. I then used my Cricut and cut out the sentiment using the paper that I printed off of the Imagine. I used some pop dots just to give this simple card a little dimension.

My First Album with my new Cinch binding machine

Good evening everyone and thanks for stopping by tonight. For my birthday my parents bought me The Cinch from We R Memory Keepers and I could not wait to put it to use. This is the first album that I made using The Cinch. I say first because I am certainly going to use it more and more. This album was made using Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue paper pack and embellishment's. I love this pack because the colors are just gorgeous. I made this with no particular person in mind I just wanted to use this paper.  I inked all the edges, cut out each of the pages a little smaller then 8x8 so that they would not stick out over the covers. I then cut our the mats for the photos at 4x4 for that I had some room to add some of the embellishment's that came with this pack. I then inked everything and started popping everything up. I am happy with the way that this album turned out. My Mom said how pretty it was and I should add some pictures of my Grandma to it or she could so I decided to give it to her so that she could add any photos that she likes.

This picture if the front cover of the album.

The other two pictures are just a couple of the pages that I added.

Wishes On The Way - Crafter's Companion

Good evening everyone. Today I am showing you a card that I made using Sheena's A Little Bit Festive Fairy Power and my Spectrum Noir markers. I stamped the image then inked the edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo just to give it a little "older" feel. I have to say that these images are one of my favorites. I love this little fairy. Doesn't she just look so determined?! The sentiment is also from this same stamp set. I used some homemade twine and wrapped it around the patterned paper. I used Lost & Found Two Sunshine by My Mind's Eye. The card base is on craft card stock from Papertrey ink. I used my white gel pen on the wings and tires.

Today is my day to post over at Crafter's Companion and this is the card that I made. Here is the link to my post is you would like to check it out here

Picture Key Chains inspired my Pinterest

Good evening everyone and thank you for joining me tonight. Here is a Pinterest inspired project. I found this on Pinterest and really wanted to make these because the picture key chains I have right now are all worn out and I needed new ones. These are the replacements.  I cut an old gift card in half then traced the paper and mod podged it to the card. The hardest part was waiting for the mod podge to dry. I then put on these stickers with my kids names and a little bit of bling.  In the morning after they had dried all night I punched a hole in them and used these cute heart brads so that I could attach them to my keys. Here is the link to the post from Pinterest.
