I am so excited to dust off my Imagine and put it to work. Emma at My Creative Time is starting a new Monday Madness "Imagine" Challenge which is great news because I am sure like other Imagine owners you some times forget about the Imagine so this is a great opportunity to get her out and put her to good use. For this challenge you had to use your Imagine or pattered paper if you do not own an Imagine and the colors teal, red, & pink.
Now on to my card. For the card base I used plain white cardstock, inked the edges with Distress Ink in Pumice Stone, adhered the paper to the card base and used pop dots on the image and then glossy accents on the eyes and the coffee inside the cup. I try not to use glossy accents on any of the imagine projects because I have noticed that sometimes the ink smudges.
For the sentiment I used my stitched oval die and the sentiment is from More Gift Card Sentiments both are from My Creative Time. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock then cut around it, cut the shape on the end (sorry I have no clue what the name if that is, I am going with pennant maybe haha), then inked the edges using Pumice Stone, punched a hole, used a blingy brad, and then used pop dots to adhere it to the card. I hope you like it because I do and I am not sure if this card is going to be given to anyone cause I am thinking I might want to keep it for myself.
