Happy 40th Birthday to my hubby...

Happy birthday to my awesome husband! Today is his 40th birthday!

For my card I used my Gypsy to weld the numbers together to make a card and then I copied the numbers to make a "front" to the card. For the base of the card I used Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I then cut out the blue numbers using Echo Park - A Boy's Life paper pad I bought at Scrapbook Steals. (Love them!) I cut the background that the card is attached to with pop dots out of Gypsy Wandering. I then stamp "Wish Big..." using my Wow! So Many Candles from My Creative Time.  I inked the edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo(one of my fav's) and then used my iRock to put a little manly bling on it.

I am entering this card in the numbers challenge over at Bitten by the Bug.

Decorate To Celebrate! Challenge 16...

I made these for a challenge over at Decorate To Celebrate!  I used my Girl's Make Up Party Cricut Cartridge to cut our the place card and the water bottle holder.

I used My Mind's Eye - Blush cardstock for the place card and then Recollections Chalkstock so that I could write whatever I want on the place card.

For the water bottle I used K&Company Valentine paper for the wrap around the water bottle then I used My Mind's Eye to cut out the cute little crown. I used my iRock and rhinestuds for the top of the crown because who doesn't want some bling?!

Materials:
  • Recollections - Chalkstock
  • Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
  • My Mind's Eye - 6x6 Blush cardstock
  • Cricut Cartridge - Girl's Makeup Party
  • iRock - Rhinestone Color

Throwback Thursday Challenge Episode 295...

This card was made for the Throwback Thursday Challenge Episode 295 over at My Creative Time. For this challenge you had to make a "Sports" Themed Project. Well I found out that I do not own any type of Sport Cricut Cartridge. I am going to have to get me at least one. Any suggestions?  I used my Gypsy to create this card using Printing Press Cricut Cartridge,  then I inked the edges using my Distress Ink, and then applied the "sports" stickers to the card.

  • DCWV - The High School Matstack
  • Recollections - Dimensional Stickers
  • Distress Ink - Fired Brick

I heart you...fishing bag

I decided that I would use this svg file that I have had for a few months. I meant to make it for my husband before he came back from his fishing trip and I didn't get around to it so I decided I would buy him some Swedish fish and make this just because I heart him.  :)

This file was a little difficult to work with only because I am used to using files that are a little more step by step with the instructions. After I "played" with it a little bit I figured it out. I think it came out adorable. I made it while he was at work so when he came home from work he found it.

Materials:
  • SVG file Fishing Bag from Clear Dollar Stamps
  • DCWV - Neutral Stack
  • small gold brads
  • My Creative Time stamp set - Small Talk

Cookie Sheet made in to fridge oraganization center

I wanted to share one of the cookie sheets I made into a fridge organization board for my sister in law for Christmas. I have made a few of these because I seen them online somewhere and thought I would love to have one myself and this would be a great gift for someone. This is what I came up with.

I found the little metal "Live, Laugh, Love" tag at Michaels and the flower magnet box. I hot glued the metal tag on and I traced the flower magnet box onto the green paper and pushed it inside to give it a little color to match the board.

Materials:
  • DCWV - Bella Armoire Stack
  • My Creative Time - XL Label Die & Whimsical Calendar Days stamp set
  • iTop - Large Magnet Daddies
