Peachy Challenge 14

Good morning. Today I am showing you a card I made for the PKS color challenge. For some reason I have really been feeling flowers. So I wanted to try using my MCT Scallop & Stitched Circle dies to make some cute ones with the PKS faces on them. Since this was a color challenge I found that the DCWV Cotton Bloom stack had all the colors for this challenge so I decided to use this stack.

This is an A2 card so I cut the yellow paper just slightly smaller then the card and the red color is 5x4 inches so that you could see the pretty yellow a little more. I used my Martha Stewart scallop punch on the green and then just cut it down just a little until I liked the way it all looked behind the flower faces. I then used my Cuttle bug to cut out the flowers, inked the edges using Distress Ink in Tea Dye, used some pop dots on the flowers and then some glossy accents on the eyes. The sentiment is from Teresa Collins card sentiments that I inked up using tea dye again.

Little Scrap Pieces Puple and/or Pink Challenge

Good evening. I am sorry for two posts today but I am on a role. Haha. This is a quick card. I wanted to use this adorable free digi I found. I printed out the image and then used my Spectrum Noir markers to color in the image. I used some spun sugar distress ink on the edges, used some pop dots to give the image some dimension, on the flower stickers I used some crystal stickles in the center of them just to give them a little bling.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card using Happy Messages from Stampendous. I used my corner chomper to round all the edges of this card.

Inspiration Monday - Art Kure Pansies card

Good morning everyone. I made this card using the Art Kure Britain in Bloom - Pansies stamp and my Spectrum Noir markers. This card was made for my sister because she has requested a few Mother's Day cards. (the inside of the card says Happy Mother's Day but the picture came out blurry)

The Spectrum Noir markers that I used to color the Pansies with are CR8, PP5, DG4, DG3, & BT1. I inked the edges using Distress Ink in Mustard Seed, some faux pearls from Recollections, and My Mind's Eye Sunshine 6x6 paper pack.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my card. Sorry I did not have too many pictures. I was really having a hard time getting a clear picture.

Cardz TV Challenge #8

For this card I printed the digital the image, Pocket Full Of Posies and then colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. I inked the edges using distress ink in faded jeans and old paper. The background paper is from MME On The Bright Side 1. I inked the edges of the green paper with peeled paint and the yellow with mustard seed. I used some pop dots to pop up the image and then stamped the sentiment using MCT This & That stamp set. Fetch A Sketch #22 - Greatest Mom

Good afternoon! Today I am featuring another Mother's Day card. Who doesn't love their Momma?! I know I do. I think every Mom should have more than just two days a year they should have at least one day a month . We work very hard making sure our families are taken care of.

Okay on to my card. This is a standard A2 card on a craft cardstock as the base. I inked all the edges using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I am not sure of the exact measurements because I just eye balled it and used a pencil to mark where I would like to cut it. I used my corner rounder to give it a little something, used one of my new favorite tools from Ephiphany Crafts the Bubble Caps Round 14 and another paper out of the MME Lost & Found Two Rosy 6x6 pad. For the circles behind these I used my MCT Build A Banner Die to make them pop a little. I used pop dots on them and the sentiment sticker is from Me & My Big Ideas.

DCWV April Stack-a-holic challenge - Good Times

Good morning! I wanted to show you a layout I made using The Cotton Bloom stack from DCWV. My sister came to visit from San Diego and my niece came to visit from Oregon so we decided we needed a "Girls" night out. We had allot of fun and maybe a few too many drinks but it was well worth it. My niece was the DD and so my sister and I got to sit in the back of her car like she was our chauffeur.

I made this layout for the DCWV April Stack-a-holic challenge and I thought this would be a great time to scrap this picture. I used the cotton bloom stack, I inked all the edges using peeled paint & faded jeans Distress Ink, around the picture & mat I used some antique scissors from Creative Memories to give the edges a little something. The sentiment is stamped using MCT Cherish This Moment stamp set and the XL label die cut in half. I used pop dots on the sentiment, flower, and the matching circle I cut using my circle punch.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed today's post.

You're one of my nicest thoughts - flower Mother's Day card

Good evening! I wanted to share with you a card I made for Mother's Day. My sister has requested a few cards so I am working on them. Here is the first one I came up with. I am in love with the MME paper pad I got from Scrapbooksteals.com a while back.

This is a 5x5 card that I inked the edges using Distress Ink in Pumice Stone, cut the background paper a little smaller then the card and inked the edges also. The Mother's Day sentiment is from a printed page I got from Teresa Collins that I found a link on My Craft Channel.  I cut it out and inked the edges using pumice stone again then adhered it to the chevron background.

I cute the flower at 3 inches and then used some stickles to give it a little bling.  I then glues it to the shadow I cut so that it would stick well, used some pop dots to adhere it to the card, pop dots on the sentiment, and then used the cute little clothespin on the sentiment.

I stamped the inside of the card using a Hero Arts friend stamp set and used a scrap of the black chevron paper on the inside just to "dress" it up a little bit.

Precious Baby Bottle Card

Good evening! I know this is my second post of the day but I wanted to get this posted today so I can work on some more projects this week.

So here is the cute card I made for a friends baby shower.  I forgot to take a picture of the inside sentiment. I will take one and post it later today. I stamped "For Your Baby Shower" on the inside using MCT stamp set More Gift Card Sentiments.

I used my Gypsy to make this baby bottle card using Simply Charmed. The card base was made using the shadow feature and the bottle layer was made using the bottle. I used the hide feature so that I could use my PKS stamp set called Happy Lashes Assortment, then I colored the cheeks and lips with pink chalk, inked the edges using Distress Ink in Spun Sugar, then used some pop dots to pop up the layers, and used the sentiment "Precious Baby" using the Teeny Tag Greetings & die for the sentiment on the front of the card. Last but not least I used glossy accents on the eyes, tongue and nipple of the bottle.

I am entering this card in the challenges over at More Than Favors, Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge, and My Craft Spot.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you liked my card for today.

DCWV Card Stack-a-holics Challenge

Good evening. I wanted to use a new stack I got from DCWV called the The Snapshot Stack. This is the first month that DCWV has done a card challenge and I think it is an excellent idea. I love making cards so I look forward to many more card challenges.

This is a 4 1/4 x 6 inch kraftstock card. I drew circles and then used my cute edge scissors to cut out each circle, inked the edges using Distress Ink in Mustard Seed, used my oval punch to make the shapes on the end of the glitter pink strip. I then wrapped some twine I won in October from My Craft Spot, stamped the cute sentiment using a stamp set from Hero Arts using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I used some pop dots on all the elements to make it pop a little.

I hope you like this cute card. Thanks for stopping by!!

I glued and stuffed the grass around the eggs to cover up the cardboard circle. I then cut out the "Hoppy Easter" & the cut bunny using my Celebrate With Flourish Cricut Lite cartridge.

I am entering this in the My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #50

I found this wreath idea on Pinterest but I changed it up just a little bit. I hope you enjoyed my Easter project. Thank you for stopping by.
