I miss you!

Good afternoon to you all. Today I am showing you a cute monkey card I made using my Paisley cartridge and PKS Happy Lashes stamp set. This is a standard A2 card, I used a new Authentique paper pad for the monkey and the card background. For the black piece I used my cuttlebug tiny bubbles folder, wrapped some twine around the card and tied a button on the twine to make a bow.

I am entering this card in the challenges at Peachy Keen Stamps and My Craft Spot

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 24

Good evening everyone. Today I am showing you a card that I made for a friends daughter's 14th birthday. She loves the color purple so I thought I would use allot of purple for her.

I printed up this cake digi from Beyond the Fringe. I colored the image in using my Spectrum Noir markers then used some stickles to give the cake a little bit of sparkle. I them wrapped some twine around and adhered the cream & purple paper to the base of the card after I used my cuttlebug to emboss them. I am not sure of the names of the folders I used but I think one is swirls and the other one is circles maybe. The ribbon at the bottom of the card is some I had from stampin up not sure of the name of it though. I inked the edges of the card using Distress Ink in Dusty Concord and the digi image with Old Paper.

I am entering this card in the challenge at Fetch A Sketch

  • Distress Ink - Dusty Concord, Old Paper

Thanks for being my friend

Good evening everyone! Here is a card that I welded together using my Gypsy. I used the accessory feature and the shadow feature to make the kitten sit on the pillow then welded them together to make the base of the card.  (I hope that makes sense) The paper that I used was DCWV The Blossoms & Butterflies stack on all the layers.

After I put all the layers together I stamped the cute face using PKS Critter Faces stamp set, put some pink stickles on the ears, glossy accents on the eyes & nose, and then stamped the sentiment from a Hero Arts stamp set.

I am entering this card in the challenges at Paper Playtime, Little Scrap Pieces, and Peachy Keen Stamps

MATERIALS:

  • Cricut - Create a Critter
  • Gypsy to weld the card base
  • PKS - Critter Faces

DCWV May Stack-a-Holic Template Challenge

Good afternoon everyone! Thank you for stopping by today. Today I am showing you a layout of my son from 2007 when he was 10 years old. He was helping build a fence at my sister in laws house. They had some damage so we went to help her out. My son was so excited to help out and he was so good at it too. He loves hanging out with his Grandpa (my father in law) and feeling important. He did a great job and I wanted to make a layout with these pictures so that we could all remember this weekend.

I used The Guy Stack from DCWV. I cut out all the elements from this stack and then I used my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio bubble caps in round 14 & 25. I think it turned out cute. I am going to add some little description on it but I am not too good with that so I will do that another day.

Number 3 birthday card

Good evening everyone. I am sharing with you a card I made for a friends son's birthday. He is 3 (as you can see from the card haha) and so I thought I would make something unique for him even though he really doesn't know the difference. I used my Gypsy and welded the numbers together using the Birthday Bash cartridge. I made this card a 5x5 I think. I printed the blue background paper using my Yummy Imagine cartridge then cut it out using my Expression, inked the edges using Mustard Seen Distress Ink, the sentiment is from My Creative Time Wow! So Many Candles, and the little birthday hat is from a sticker set I bought at Target a couple years ago.

My Creative Time Scrappy Monday Layout Challenge

Good evening everyone. Thank you for stopping by tonight. For this layout I wanted to try and use some pictures of me in it. I usually do my family and friends and rarely do any with me in them because I am usually the one that is behind the camera. I also thought because Mother's Day is right around the corner I would use a few different pictures. The far right picture is me at my baby shower with my son who is almost 15 years old (wow how young I look), the middle picture was a day in Monterey where my daughter and I were snapping pictures of ourselves wearing funny hats, and the left picture is just a random picture I took before we left for a party.

Below is the sketch that I had to follow and here is my take on it. I just printed up the 3x5 pictures then cut a frame around each picture and inked the edges with Vintage Photo. Then I used some pop dots to give the pictures some dimension and you can't really see in the picture but above all the photos it says "Moms faces" and these stickers also came in this Jenni Bowlin kit. I then found a cute sticker that has some definitions about memories, cherish, & forever.

I am entering this layout in the My Creative Time Scrappy Monday Layout Challenge

MATERIALS:
  • Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
  • Jenni Bowlin - Vintage Paper pack
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed today's layout. **Don't forget to check out this weeks giveaway from Crafter's Companion  and the Crafter's Companion May challenge here.

M O M

Good evening. Thank you for stopping by. Tonight I am showing you another Mother's Day card that I made. I love these colors. I made this card using MME Lost & Found Two Blush 6x6 paper pad, Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge, and some great stamps from Precious Remembrance Shop. I love the way this super easy card turned out.

This is an A2 sized card. One of the challenges that I am entering this card in was a sketch challenge so I followed the sketch. The MOM is a sticker from Michaels that I bought last year and thought would match perfect with this stack. I inked the edges using Old Paper, made the flowers at 2 inches and 3 inches, then I hot glued them on to the card. Super simple yet cute card.

(Sorry the inside of the card is so blurry I couldn't get a good picture.)

I am entering this card in the challenge at Cardz Tv, My Craft Spot, & Fetch A Sketch

MATERIALS:
  • Distress Ink - Old Paper
  • My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found Two Blush 6x6 pad
  • Martha Stewart - scallop dot punch
  • Cricut cartridge - Flower Shoppe
  • Recollections - Adhesive Rhinestones
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card. Don't forget to check out the giveaways over at Crafter's Companion.
