My Creative Time - "Scrappy Monday" Sketch Challenge

Good afternoon everyone! Today I am showing you a layout I made for the challenge over at My Creative Time. This is a sketch challenge and you had to use "fibers" on your layout. On this layout I used some paper that I had from We R Memory Keepers and some paper from DCWV. I kept it pretty simple and clean. The scallop paper is also from We R Memory Keepers and it was already cut with this shape so I just cut it down to 9 inches and adhered it to the green paper also from We R Memory Keepers. I then cut the light blue paper from DCWV Latte Cardstock stack at 9 inches. I then used my Cuttelbug and my XL Label Die to make the journaling tag. I stamped the lines and border using Distress Ink in Pine Needles. The sentiment is from Cherish This Moment. I hope you enjoyed today's layout.

DCWV June Stack-a-Holic Card Challenge

Good morning everyone. Thanks for stopping by this morning. Today I am showing you a card that I made using DCWV The Guy Stack which is one of my favorites. I love all the colors and patterns in this stack and are perfect for guys. I used my Gypsy to weld the word dad together using Doodletype. The shield (not sure of the proper name) that is behind the word is from Paperdoll Dress Up cartridge. The flourish that is behind the shield is from gypsy wandering. I used my gypsy to lay all the layers out to make sure that it would all fit and look the way I wanted it too. I used my corner punch to round the corners and inked all the edges using walnut stain.

Good morning. Here is a one page layout that I made using the DCWV Generation Tech stack. I used all the elements from this stack except for the chrome alphas on the bottom of the page. You Make My Heart Sing

This layout is made using my Imagine and the cartridge Better Together. I wanted to scrap this picture of my kids and I at a birthday party last year. I made an 8x8 layout and thought this saying was perfect because my kiddos do make my heart sing. I cut the red background at 7.5 and the cream color at 5 inches. I layered the images and then used some stickles on the musical notes and pink stickles on the cheeks of the heart. All the edges were inked with vintage photo and the red was inked with barn door.

Grandpa's 90th Birthday layout

Good evening. Tonight I am showing you an 8x8 layout that is of my Grandpa in law and I at his 90th birthday party last year. I have been wanting to scrap these and just haven't found the time. I am hoping this will help me do more of them.

For this layout I used the paper and the plane from Echo Park A Boy's Life pack, inked the edges with Distress Ink in Wild Honey, used my star cuttlebug folder on the background behind the sentiment. I used some dimensionals on the sentiment which I think is hilarious by the way and the buttons are from Recollections and then I used some stickers that came with the paper pack from Echo Park and put 90th on the tail end of plane.
