Happy Easter!

Hello everyone. I want to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! I hope you all have a wonderful day and eat lots of candy. Haha.  Just a quick post of the Easter bags filled with candy that I made for my kids.  I used the Easter 2010 and Lacy Labels cartridge.  I used some the Lacy Labels for the background pieces and adhered them to the bags. I then cut the bunny and chick from the Easter cartridge and used some pop dots on them. Super quick and easy. I added allot of candy and a little grass inside the bags that I bought at Michaels.

Pinterest Inspired Poodle Card

Hello everyone. Thanks for stopping by today. Here is a poodle card I made using my Nifety 50's cartridge. I just love this cartridge. It has some of the cutest images on it and especially "older" images that I just love.  Okay on to my card. This is a standard A2 card on a white base.  I used some cream colored paper and stripped paper from MME and then cut out the poodle and used some white flock on the parts of the poodle that has some fur. I think it turned out too cute.  I used some glitter paper behind the poodle from DCWV. I didn't use too much on the card and I did not put a sentiment on it because I think I would like to use this as a note card.  I hope you enjoyed today's card.

Hoppy Easter 8x8 Layout

Hello and thanks for stopping by. This is an Easter layout that I made using my Gypsy to assemble. I wanted to make a layout so that I would have a jump on Easter this year. I will add the picture later.  I made an 8x8 layout background in kraft cardstock. I found this cute polka dot paper in my stash. I think it is from stampin up years ago. I used some DCWV paper to cut out the sentiment and the eggs.  I then added cute PKS faces and added lots of pop dots to give some dimension.

FCCB Luck of the Irish

Hello there. Here is the treat bags that I made for this weeks FCCB challenge.  I got the idea from this post on Pinterest.  I think my kids will enjoy these. The hardest part was separating the skittles by color. I think they came out great. Who doesn't want some candy in a bag?

I first put the rolo candy on the bottom of the bags, then separated the skittles and added them to the bag. (I am not sure if the rainbow colors are right but pretty close)  I then used a staple to close the top. The topper is from Michaels last year and I cut it with my Cuttlebug and My Creative Time XL Label die then folded it in half.

Materials:
  • Cricut - Celebrate With Flourish & A Child's Year
  • pretzel bags from Michael's
  • Candy - rolo & skittles
  • Stickles - green

Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you enjoyed my project. Please stop by FCCB and play along with this weeks Luck of the Irish challenge here.
